Are you looking for a gourmet appetizer for your next meal with friends? Discover this recipe for puff pastry with honey, goat cheese and figs. This recipe works just as well as a starter or main course, accompanied by a green salad.
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 4 squares of puff pastry (approximately 13x13cm)
- 3 fresh figs
- ½ matured goat cheese
- Forest honey , or chestnut honey , or heather honey
- A few rosemary leaves
- 1 egg yolk or a little soy milk
- Salt and pepper
Preparation of the Honey Puff Pastry:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- On each piece of dough, place several slices of fig, a few pieces of goat cheese and a pinch of chopped rosemary sprigs, then add a drizzle of honey, more or less generous according to your taste. Salt and pepper.
- Fold the edges of your dough if necessary, and brush them with beaten egg yolk or soy milk so that they brown nicely during cooking.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until your pastries are cooked and colored.
