Honey and Thyme Roasted Carrots

Honey is not just a treat that can be enjoyed on toast or by the spoonful. It also goes very well with vegetables, and is a perfect addition to savory dishes, adding a delicious caramelized touch! Discover our tasty recipe for honey and thyme roasted carrots. Full of flavor, soft and juicy at the same time, they will delight you!

Ingredients :

  • 1 bunch of carrots (preferably not too big)
  • 2 tablespoons thyme honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Thyme (dried or fresh)
  • salt, pepper

Preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 200°. Wash and dry the carrots then cut the tops, keeping only 2 centimeters on each carrot.
  • Arrange the carrots in a single row on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • In a small saucepan, mix the oil, honey and thyme. Heat for a few minutes until the mixture becomes liquid.
  • Cover the carrots with the mixture, massaging them well so that the oil and honey evenly cover each carrot. Drizzle with olive oil if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 200° for 30 to 35 minutes until carrots are tender and ends begin to caramelize. Prick with a fork to check doneness.
