Crème brûlée with lavender honey

Crème brûlée is a great classic of French gastronomy. Today, we are going to present you a recipe for crème brûlée with lavender honey, which, with its floral and slightly sweet notes, is the perfect ingredient to add a fragrant touch to this dessert. This recipe is easy to make and will surely please all lovers of crème brûlée and honey.

The ingredients:

For 6 people

  • 10 cl of fresh cream
  • 50 g of caster sugar
  • 100 g lavender honey
  • 40 cl of milk
  • 8 egg yolks
  • Blonde brown sugar

Preparation:

Step 1:

Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a mixer until the mixture turns white.

Step 2:

Heat the milk and dissolve the honey in it.

Step 3:

Off the heat, add the milk all at once to the egg and sugar mixture, beating briskly.

Step 4:

Return to heat until mixture coats spoon.

Step 5:

Fill the ramekins halfway up. Leave to cool slightly.

Step 6:

Cook in a bain-marie at 120°C (thermostat 4) for around 40 min.

Step 7:

Before serving, sprinkle with a little brown sugar and place under the grill to brown.
