Heather honey from the Landes is the succulent result of a harvest made by bees on the different species of Heather growing in this French region (Erica heather, Calluna heather, etc.). It has a very dark brown color and a creamy, fragrant texture. This 100% natural honey reveals a woody and floral scent, enhanced with touches of fresh fruit. At the end of the tasting, a slight touch of bitterness remains in the mouth.
This lively and fresh honey with vegetal notes is harvested between July and September.
Heather honey from Landes is very rich in trace elements and minerals, making it an ideal ally for the body. It is also known for soothing joint pain and treating urinary system disorders.
