Lemon tree honey has a light golden color. With a fairly thick creamy texture, it offers a floral and fruity flavor. A real explosion of citrus flower notes in the mouth, Lemon tree honey leaves a slight acidity at the end of the mouth.
The flowers of the Lemon tree bloom several times a year, although they are more numerous in mid-spring and late summer. Just like the Mandarin tree, the flowers and fruits are found on the tree at the same time. The harvest of this 100% natural monofloral honey takes place at the end of spring under the Spanish sun, more precisely in the province of Valencia.
Lemon honey is known for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Like all citrus honeys, it is a beneficial antispasmodic in cases of migraine, insomnia and palpitations. Rich in antioxidants, it also strengthens the body's immune system.
