Burgundy honey is made up of different nectars, all from Burgundy plants. Its creamy texture offers a very delicious fruity flavor with a touch of acidity.
BURGUNDY HONEY, A CREAMY, LIGHTLY AMBER HONEY WITH FRUITY AND FLORAL AROMAS
Burgundy honey is the delicious result of a vast harvest made by bees on different flowers and plants of the Region. This honey results mainly from the foraging in spring of hawthorns and fruit trees and in summer of sunflower flowers in Burgundy. This polyfloral honey has a light amber color, an aroma composed of vegetal and floral notes, and a slightly acidic fruity taste. This easy-to-spread honey is lively and fresh on the palate. It is harvested between May and September.
Burgundy honey is very rich in trace elements as well as antioxidants (flavonoids) due to the significant diversity of flowers that compose it. It is effective against sore throats and insomnia, it improves blood circulation and is indicated in case of cholesterol.
